Taco Bell Charged For Calling Its Taco Filling Beef
The taco meat in some Taco Bell products is touted as beef, however a closer examination of its contents refutes that notion. Heavily-advertised Taco Bell merchandise claim to contain ground beef, but what is really a composite of ingredients contains only 35 percent beef. Word has gotten out about the true nature of goods Taco Bell promotes as beef, which has resulted in a lawsuit accusing the fast food chain of false advertising. Maybe if they had taken out a good personal unsecured loan, they could have paid for real meat.
The class action suit Taco Bell is dealing with
There is a woman making says the “seasoned ground beef” at Taco Bell is hard to digest. This CA woman plans on doing something with this. The Taco Bell taco beef has a lot of additives and fillers in it from oatmeal to silica. She got a law firm to work for her after realizing this. Taco Bell will now have to deal with the class-action suit in California that was filed on Jan 21. It was filed for her by Beasly, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles of Montgomery, Ala. It's demanded that Taco Bell beef be called “filing” by the class action lawsuit. This is because 65 percent of it is just chemicals, preservatives and extenders.
The reason why Taco Bell doesn’t use beef
The official definition of ground beef that the United States DOA states is what the Taco Bell false advertising suit is about. Ground beef is defined by the USDA as fresh or frozen beef with no more than 30 percent fat. Also, zero water, phosphates, binders or extenders could be added. There is silicon dioxide, “isolated oat product,” water, potassium phosphate and sodium phosphate in this meat. This is what Taco Bell beef is made of. Taco Bell taco beef can’t even be considered “taco filing” because 40 percent has to be fresh meat for that, the United States Department of Agriculture definition states.
What is in Taco Bell taco meat?
While not denying the facts of the Taco Bell class action suit, Taco Bell denies its advertising is misleading and said millions of customers agree. The woman who initiated the suit said she’s not in it for the money. She simply wants the court to require that Taco Bell quit advertising that it's selling beef.

Harold Ford Jr. Calls Newt Gingrich a 'Serious Thinker' (crooksandliars)

On this Sunday's _Meet the Press_ in which the panel segment looked like a
version of _Morning Joe_ redux, their favorite ConservaDem Harold Ford Jr.
(D-Wall Street) was asked about Newt Gingrich's rise in the polls and whether
he can manage to stay there or not after we've seen so many other candidates
rise and fall as the potential alternative to Mitt Romney.
Ford goes on to describe Newt Gingrich as a "a serious thinker, he's a
presenter in a very serious way" who has "been able to connect with
conservative voters in ways that the others have not." Later in the segment,
Ford actually goes on to explain some of why Gingrich should not be taken
seriously as a candidate and that he's really good at just throwing red meat
to the base with rhetoric that's long on flame throwing and too often short on
facts. Ford also ignored the fact that Gingrich is a scam artist who's been
ripping people off with his direct mail scheme and that he has no organization
on the ground in most states.
